I was on a call with an agency owner.

He was buzzing about Claude Code.

"It's amazing," he said.

Then a pause…
"…but I can't keep up."

I sat there nodding.

Because 12 months ago, I felt the same.

Every morning, I looked in the mirror.
Two big bags under my eyes.

Three nights in a row trying to automate something.
It probably didn't even need automating.

AI is supposed to save your life.
Not drag you into a rabbit hole at 2 am…

Sounds familiar…?

You don't need to become an AI engineer.

You need to run a marketing agency…

So here's how I'd start with AI automations…
(If I were you.)

The 5 steps to start small with AI:

  1. Pick ONE task that drains your week.
Just one. The thing you keep saying, "I should automate this", about.

  2. Time a task for one week.
If it's under 5 hours a week, it's not worth it.

  3. Write it out like you're handing it to a new hire.
Write out the steps so a 10-year-old will understand.

  4. Open Claudeand ask one question:
"What's the simplest way to do this faster?"

  5. Sleep on it.
If tomorrow you still want to build it go for it.

Keep it simple, stupid alwasy served me well.

Now it’s your turn.

Now, here comes the cool part…

Every month, we build 5 free custom automations for readers of The Lead.

So if you’re an agency owner, let us build a custom automation for you.

All you need is to do next is fill in the short form.

And we pick 5 lucky readers.

Five lucky agencies get one task off their plate.

The rest of us start small with the 5 steps above.

Either way, you sleep tonight.

And run your business tomorrow.

Greetings from Bali.
