6 am.

Just me…
Bumi, Chillly and Bonnie.

My dogs..

Circling me because they want to go to the beach.

“Not yet, guys”

I’m ready for my daily DM session.

My friend Lara Acosta. AKA the LinkedIn queen…

Always says Virgil DM’s are more important than posts.

And LinkedIn treats me well.

But DM’s take a damn long time.

Open each profile.
Read their last post.
Think of something to write.
Send it.

You need a holiday after each DM session.
So it was time for a change.

I called upon my trusted robot Claude.
And a LinkedIn CRM tool built by my buddy Michael, called Kondo.

When you’re fed up with LinkedIn's ancient DM system, you can check it out here.

Now I would like to make one thing clear.
Never send a message written by the robot.

It sucks, and it’s s predictable.

You like to stand out with your DM’s, right?

So let the robot do everything else but the writing.
And you’ll save a ton of time.

This is how the DM skill works.

Claude read each profile in seconds.

Pulled their last post.
Drafted a first message in my voice.

I read every draft.
Approved, rewrote, or killed.
Hit send to myself.

Forty DMs out before 7 am.

Here is how it runs every morning.

Build your prospect list in Kondo.

ICP only. One filter. One job title.

Let Claude research each profile.

Last post. Last comment. Last job change.

Claude drafts the first message.

Opens with one real detail from their profile.
Asks one question. Never pitches.

You read every draft.

Approve. Rewrite. Kill.
You hit send yourself.

Set a three-day follow-up.

Claude writes the nudge.
You still approve it.

Friday. Pull the weekly summary.

Reply rate.
Booked calls. Dead threads.

So now over to you.

Reply to this email with the word "skill".

I'll send you the full setup you can run in your Claude Code.
